„Verbotene Liebe“: YouTube-Webserie „Weil es Liebe ist … – Marlene & Rebecca“ gibt Einblicke in Rebeccas und Marlenes privates Liebesglück
Rebecca und Marlene sind verliebt – und das wollen sie auch öffentlich zeigen. In einer exklusiven YouTube-Webserie erhalten die „Verbotene Liebe“ Zuschauer jetzt Einblicke in das private Liebesglück der beiden Serienfiguren und können ihnen zusätzlich auf Facebook folgen.
Als Weihnachtsgeschenk für die „Verbotene Liebe“-Fans und als Dank für ihre Treue startet ab dem 17. Dezember die fünfteilige Webserie „Weil es Liebe ist … – Marlene & Rebecca“. Sie erzählt, wie Rebecca (gespielt von Tatjana Kästel) und Marlene (gespielt von Melanie Kogler) sich zum erstem Mal öffentlich zu ihrer lesbischen Liebe bekennen. Angst vor gesellschaftlicher Verachtung und der Kampf mit der Überwindung spielen in dem Webformat eine zentrale Rolle. Dabei verzichtet die Webserie bewusst auf die sonst aus der Vorabendserie gewohnte Umgebung rund um das Schloß und legt Wert darauf, beide Figuren in ihrem alltäglichen Leben zu portraitieren – fernab von Champagner und Adelsattitüde.
Heimlich verliebt ineinander waren die beiden Serienfiguren aus der ARD-Vorabendserie „Verbotene Liebe“ (montags bis freitags um 18:00 Uhr im Ersten) schon lange. Rebecca musste jedoch sehr um Marlene kämpfen, bis diese schließlich ihre Hochzeit mit Tristan platzen ließ und sich für Rebecca entschied. Jetzt führen sie eine glückliche Beziehung miteinander.
Was dem Zuschauer der TV-Serie bisher verborgen blieb, ist wie beide mit der neuen Situation umgehen. So glücklich das Paar in intimen Momenten auch ist, in der Öffentlichkeit fällt es vor allem Marlene noch immer schwer, zu ihrer lesbischen Liebe zu stehen. In den fünf Folgen von „Weil es Liebe ist … – Marlene & Rebecca“ bringt Rebecca ihre Freundin Marlene deshalb dazu, mit ihr Tanzen zu gehen und ihre gewohnte Umgebung zu verlassen. Im Club kommen sie sich näher, doch Marlene schafft es einfach nicht, den finalen Schritt ins Outing zu gehen. Nur langsam überzeugt Rebecca sie davon, dass sie sich nicht verstecken müssen und dass ihre Liebe etwas ganz Normales ist.
Pünktlich zum Start von „Weil es Liebe ist … – Marlene & Rebecca“ erhält der Zuschauer zusätzlich die Möglichkeit, dem Liebespaar auf Facebook zu folgen. Neben Serienfigur Ansgar von Lahnstein erhalten auch „Marbecca“ ihre eigene, offizielle Facebook-Seite, die sie regelmäßig mit neuen Inhalten füllen.

„Forbidden Love“: YouTube webseries „Because it’s love … – Marlene & Rebecca“ gives insight into Rebecca’s and Marlene’s private joys of love
Rebecca and Marlene are in love – and they long for to show it to the world. In an exclusive YouTube web series, the „Forbidden Love“ viewers now get an insight into the private joy of love of the two characters and can also follow them on Facebook.
As a Christmas gift for the „Forbidden Love“ fans and as a reward for their loyalty, the five-part web series „Because it’s love … – Marlene & Rebecca“ launches on December 17th. The web series tells about how Rebecca (played by Tatyana Kästel) and Marlene (played by Melanie Kogler) admit for the first time publicly about thier lesbian love. Fear of social contempt and overcoming daily struggle, play a central role in the web format. The webseries deliberately leaves out, otherwise familiar from the evening TV series, the area around the castle and is keen to portray both characters in their daily lives – far away from champagne and glamour
